Last night RAF Uxbridge witnessed the birth of a legend during the first ever Central Band Table Tennis Championships.
Unfortunate to exit the cup in the first round (losing to Pete Jones 2-0), I stormed my way to the final of the plate competition. Just Andy Watson stood between me and immortality! After falling behind 3-1, I staged a 'Rocky style' comeback to win 4-3!!!!!
Alfie Ruddell won the Cup with a decidedly uninspiring, if comprehensive, 4-0 victory over Rob Jordan.
